- A Google User Added July 13, 2017★ ★ ★ ★ ☆When we got to the hotel we had to pay for the room and put a deposit for the room key down before actually being able to view the room, got up stairs to our room, words cant actually describe how unpleasant it was. We had 3rooms and not one of the 6 of us was impressed with them. Also the ladies toilet upstairs wouldnt flush. and the mens shower was out of order we all refused to use the toilets so we had to go down into the pub to go.
The best thing thats keeping this pub alive would have to be the food it was delicious and the chiefs were really lovely my & my families thanks go out to them.
We went on a ghost tour and came back just after 11pm and couldnt get in as they were on lockdown so we had trouble contacting our spouses inside we then decided that we wernt going to stay and all we got back were our $50 key deposits. Anyone who intends to stay here dont expect much of the rooms, but i do put out a DO NOT STAY if your heading to Picton go to the George 4th Inn.
